Frank M. Matesig, age 63, of Glassport, died December 25, 2017, at John J. Kane Regional Medical Center.

Frank M. Matesig, age 63, of Glassport, died December 25, 2017, at John J. Kane Regional Medical Center. Born May 15, 1954, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Russell, Sr. and Lorraine (Kundman) Matesig and the husband of Toni (Suncine) Matesig. Frank worked as a research tech at Garber Research, in West Mifflin. He was a member of Open Bible Church, in McKeesport. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Frank, Jr. and Donnie both of VA; step-children, Anthony (Holly) Jordan of Glassport, Ruth (Dave Paxon) Jordan of Irwin and Michelle Jordan of McKeesport; siblings, Wayne (Clara) of Lancaster, PA, Gary of FL, Russell (Ethelda Brownfield), Jr. of McKeesport, Linda of McKeesport; grandchildren, Stephan Haun, Cayla Jordan, Anthony Jr, Marissa and Mitchell Jordan ,Desiree, Nicole, Michael, Misty Jordan and her loving kids and Joe Bednar; great grandchildren Kyra and Shania and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Matesig. A memorial service will be held at the First Church of the Open Bible, 719 Union Ave., in McKeesport, PA 15132, on Monday, January 1, 2018, at 10 a.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.
