Magdalene Tretinik, 97, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Golden Heights Personal Care Home. She was born October 7, 1925, a daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Tretinik. Prior to her retirement, Magdalene worked for Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory. She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Church in Herminie and enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sara Nagy. Magdalene is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Brush Creek Cemetery. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
