Catherine M. Williams, age 97, of West Mifflin, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Born in Duquesne on June 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Denne) Gruber. She was the former co-owner of Dolly Allen’s beauty shop. She was the wife of the late James Robson Williams, who passed away in 1980; mother of Meliss “Missy” (John) Selvaggio of West Mifflin and James G. (Lisa) Williams of Chandler, AZ; grandmother of Lauren (Bill) Lesko, Eric Selvaggio, Logan (Julianne) Williams and Landon Williams; and great grandmother of Henry Lesko. She was predeceased by her brother and sisters, Barbara (husband Carl Sr. survives) Thomas, Clara (late Ed) Smith; Armella (late Jasper) Falvo and John (late Martha) Gruber. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022, from 2-6 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. A Blessing Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church-Duquesne, with Rev. Fred Gruber, Rev. Peter Gruber and Rev. James Bump, officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
