Marian Zajdel, age 91, of McKeesport, PA, died on Friday, February 24, 2023. She was born in Glassport on August 10, 1931, and is the daughter of the late Mile and Mildred Maderic Evanovich and the wife of the late Albert Zajdel.

She retired as a secretary from H.B. South Printer. Marian is survived by her son, Paul Jones of McKeesport, PA; grandchildren, Brandi (José) Balza of Murrysville, PA; Amy Wargo of McKeesport, PA; and great-grandchildren, José Balza, Jr. and Ashley Jankowski. In addition to her parents and husband, Marian is preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Jones; siblings, Helen Bitler; Grace Tyskiewiez; George Evanovich; Miles Evanovich; Mike Evanovich; Nick Evanovich; and Peter Evanovich. Family and friends will gather on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Charles Owston officiating. Entombment will follow at McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery.
