Paul L. Finney, age 80, of Elizabeth, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Canterbury Place in Lawrenceville. He was a retired machinist at Weld Tooling Company in Canonsburg and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was a former volunteer fireman in Elizabeth and Glassport, a rabid Pittsburgh sports fan, and he loved his pets. Born April 1, 1942 in Glassport, he was a son of the late John and Margaret (Markland) Finney. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara J. (Henderson) Finney; three sons, Shawn (Christine) Finney of Dravosburg, Darin (Mo) Finney of Crested Butte, CO and Kevin (Amie) Finney of Mt. Vernon; six grandchildren, Cameron, Carson, Kaden, Austin, Avarie and Kenadie Finney; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ron Calabro officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
