John A. Kudla

John A. Kudla, 85, of Glassport, died peacefully surrounded by family on Oct. 13, 2016. He is the son of the late Jacob and Agnes (Pontol) Kudla. Husband of the late Helen (Ocilka) Kudla. John is survived by his daughter Susan (Bill) Nichols of West Mifflin and son Ed (Cathy) Mihalek of Port Vue; grandchildren Keith (Holly) Nichols and Bethany (Aaron) Felter; great grandchildren Jacob and Erica. John is also survived by his nephew and caretaker, Edward "Butch" Tyszkiewicz of Glassport; also numerous nieces, nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers Stanley, Edward, James, Frank, Henry and Ted and sisters Theresa, Evelyn and Sister Mary Edward.
John was the retired owner/operator of Kudla's Service Center in Bethel Park; a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish; Lions Club, PNA Lodge 352 and 750 and served in the US Army Korean War.
Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Mon. and Tues. 2-4 and 6-8. A funeral mass will be held Wed. 10:00 am at Queen of the Rosary Parish with Rev. Miroslaus Wojcicki. Interment following Calvary Cemetery.
