Bonnie Jo Misterka, age 74, of North Huntingdon, PA, died on Friday, June 23, 2023. She was born in McKeesport, PA on September 29, 1948 and is the daughter of the late Richard and Myrtle Giles Crawford. She was employed as a bookkeeper at National Bank and later retired as a teller from Three Rivers Bank, both in McKeesport, PA. Bonnie was a very active member at the Bryn Mawr Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for over 40 years, as well as served as a deaconess and on the finance council. She was also on the board of directors at McKeesport Little Theater.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years next month, Bernie Misterka; son, Adam Misterka of Penn Run, PA; daughter, Niki Misterka of Springdale, PA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her sister, Carol (the late Harry) Crum; and niece, Wendi Crum. Services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Noon with Pastor Charles Owston officiating at the Bryn Mawr Church of Christ, 2901 State Street, White Oak, PA 15131. Arrangements are being handled by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
