James Lon Bayer, 75, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023.  He was born, April 23, 1948 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph L. and Lavernna LaRue (Logan) Bayer.  Jim was the owner/operator of J.L. Bayer Heating & Air Conditioning Company.  He was a proud Vietnam veteran of the US Air Force and a classic muscle car enthusiast.  He is survived by his wife, Sarah (Liller) Bayer;  stepsons, James and John Cole; sisters, Karen Thomas (George), Vicki Prop, Sheila Armstrong (Eugene); and several nieces and nephews.  At Jim's request, there will be no visitation.  Memorial donations may be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank in memory of Jim.  Arrangements made by James W.
