Helen M. (Mikszan) Becker, age 92, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. She was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp. Born March 19, 1931 in Lawrenceville, she was a daughter of the late Andrew C. and Viola (Bollard) Mikszan and wife of the recently deceased George L. Becker Jr. She is survived by daughters, Dolores (Gary) Bell of Charlotte, NC, Patricia (Larry) Vavrek of Estero, FL, Carol Karabinos of Pittsburgh, Charlene (Rege) McDonough of Cincinnati, OH, Mary (Skip) Chuderewicz of Pittsburgh and Lynn (Eric) Damico of Jefferson Hills; sons, Lawrence (Sherry) Becker of Colorado Springs, CO, Daniel (Robin) Becker of Lancaster, Henry (Lorra) Becker of Denver, CO, Ronald Becker of Plattsburg, NY, Kenneth (Kathy) Becker of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and George (Sheila) Becker of Jefferson Hills; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, George Mikszan. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 3-5 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 9:30 AM in St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
