William R. Firczak, age 86, of Elizabeth and Forward Twp., passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Southwestern Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was a retired electrical technician and consultant for Lectromelt in Pittsburgh. An Air Force veteran having served in the Korean War, he was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Elizabeth Twp., the Kastan-Uveges VFW Post 7632 in Elizabeth, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and all things outdoors. Born October 10, 1936 in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late John and Catherine Firczak. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Donna J. (Joll) Firczak; sons, Dr. Scott (Susan) Firczak of Mt. Ulla, NC and Rick (Vickie) Firczak of Mooresville, NC; sister, Wilma Fedorka of Elizabeth; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Randy A. Firczak, a brother and sisters.

Friends will be received at Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church, 100 Timothy Drive, Elizabeth Twp., on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM with the Rev. Adam Stump officiating. Private burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kastan-Uveges VFW Post 7632, 502 Oxford Avenue, Elizabeth, PA 15037. Arrangements by the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth.
