David Michael Jones, age 71, of Pittsburgh, died on Monday, September 11, 2023. He was born in Pittsburgh on March 13, 1952, and was the son of the late Helen C. Jones, and the husband of the late Kathleen Marie Williams Jones, who died on February 10, 2009. He was very proud to be a 1970 graduate of Westinghouse High School, home of the Bulldogs, where he played football. After graduating, David served in the United States Army. He was employed as a housekeeper for DoubleTree by Hilton in Pittsburgh for over 30 years. He received numerous awards and recognitions from his employer, including Employee of the Year multiple times and was the longest serving employee in his department. David was also an avid Steelers fan.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Paulette Williams of Clairton; and close friends, Robert Herman Walker of Clairton; and Debra (Keith) Harper-Mack of Las Vegas, NV. Also left to cherish his memory are additional friends, family, and coworkers.

Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until Noon, when services will be held in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at Lebanon Chapel Mausoleum of West Mifflin.
