Daniel F. Marra, age 90 of Jefferson Hills, passed away at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Born December 6, 1932 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Frank and Philomena (Fusco) Marra. A 1950 graduate of Clairton High School, Daniel was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Daniel Keffer Post #75 of Clairton. He was a Union Carpenter with the Local 142 from 1955 to 1971, the president of Marra Construction from 1971 to 1989, and the operations manager for Boulevard Building, Inc. from 1989 until his retirement at age 88 in 2020. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the casino, but not nearly as much as he loved spending time with his family.

Besides his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn "Pinky" (Nelson) Marra, who passed away April 6, 2006; his son Daniel J. Marra, who passed away September 12, 2010; and his siblings: Antoinette Girman, Felix "Brother" Marra, Marie Mackulin, and Rosella Lane. He is survived by his daughters Valerie (Dane) Grese of Jefferson Hills and Lisa (Dean) Mallozzi of Pleasant Hills; his grandchildren Somer Grese, Dane Grese, Jr., Ashley Grese, Dylan Mallozzi, Savannah Mallozzi, and Monique Semian; his great-grandchildren Haley Marra and Ethan Semian; his great-great-grandson Jameson; and also nieces and nephews.
