Frances C. (Thomas) Martin, age 68, of McKeesport passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Kane Community Living Center. Born February 8, 1955 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Elizabeth Thomas. She worked as a registered nurse at Jefferson Hospital, in Jefferson Hills.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, the late Ronald W. Martin. She is survived by her son Michael (Stacy) Martin of Plum; daughter Julie Martin of McKeesport, grandchildren Austin, Ryan and Kyle and Trey (twins expected in 2024); siblings Edward Thomas of Missouri, Dorothy Hansen of Dravosburg, and Kelly Yauch of McKeesport; and various nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Frances was preceded in death by her siblings Emil Thomas, Josephine Tirpak, and Barbara Sanderson. Friends will be received at the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home & Crematory, 4504 Walnut Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412) 678-3454 on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 6 PM – 8 PM. A blessing will take place on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville. Arrangements made by the Daniel F.
