James (Jim) Richie, 80, formerly of North Huntingdon died October 17, 2023. He was born March 24, 1943 in Coraopolis, Pa, a son of the late Wilbert Richie and Lucille (Ceyrolles) Nelson. Jim was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Jim enjoyed camping, golfing and hunting. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrician by Alcoa. Jim was a veteran of the Vietnam war having served in both Vietnam and Japan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Micklo) Richie, two sisters, Barbara Smith and Betty Phillips. He is survived by his children, Stacie Crisp, James Richie (Christine) grandchildren, Helena and Emily Richie and Dalton Crisp.
Friends will be received from 2-7pm on Sunday October 22nd at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, October 23rd at 9:30 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Interment Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
