David “Shoes” P. Mignogna, age 65, of East McKeesport, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 30, 2016. He was born January 21, 1951, a son of the late Anthony and Evelyn (Severino) Mignogna. He worked as a Certified Public Land Surveyor, first for his own company Penn Land Surveyors for over 25 years, and then for Deglau Engineering for over 10 years. He was a long-time Steelers fan and season ticket holder for over 44 years. He played the guitar, loved music and his family, and was good to everyone he met.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Nick Mignogna; and a sister Vivian Mignogna. He is survived by his wife of over 32 years Cecelia “Sally” (Piccolina) Mignogna; daughters Dawn Mignogna of North Huntingdon and Angela Mediate of North Versailles; granddaughter Evelina Mignogna; sister Eleanor (Don) Mignogna-Blake of North Versailles; sister-in-law Diana Mignogna; aunt Edith Botti; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083, where everyone will gather at 11:00 a.m. Thursday for a service of remembrance.
