Nancy E. Broadwater, age 76, of Duquesne, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, in UPMC Mercy. Born in Schenectady, NY, on March 6, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Chloe (Elliott) Tong. She was a former teacher’s aide for the Duquesne City School District, a caregiver at the former Serra Manor in Munhall, and a former member of the former Grace United Church of Christ. Nancy is the common law wife of Roderick O. Davis; mother of James Broadwater of Duquesne, Lisa Broadwater of McKeesport, Shawn Broadwater of Duquesne and Owen Davis of Duquesne; grandmother of Mark Miliner Jr., Shawn Miliner, Christopher Miliner, Eddie Gray, Dwayne Gray, Talasia Marshall, Shawn Broadwater Jr., Ryan Broadwater and Precious Broadwater; great grandmother of Asiana Miliner, Cameron Sands, Christopher Miliner, Mark Miliner III, Natalia Miliner, Memphis Broadwater, Grayson Broadwater, Shawn Miliner Jr., Angel Miliner, Salona Miliner, Sky Miliner and Ava Miliner; and sister of Chloella Tong of Florida, Jackie Moyle of West Mifflin and the late Alfred Tong. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 4-7 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. A Funeral Service will be held, following the visitation, on Friday at 7:00 p.m., in the Funeral Home, with Rev. James Condron, officiating.
