Patricia Ann “Patty” Lister Sparico, 87 of West Homestead, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on Tuesday November 21st, 2023 at her home. She was born in West Mifflin on August 6th, 1936 to the late Charles and Martha Matz Lister. Patricia was the loving wife of 60 years to the late Antonio Sparico. She is survived by her daughter Jannine Ackerman of West Homestead, son Anthony (Trina) Sparico of Upper St. Clair, grandchildren Megan (Alex Gennari) Sparico of West Homestead, Anthony (Amanda) Sparico of Pleasant Hills, Natalie Sparico of Upper St. Clair, Annalee Sparico of Upper St. Clair, Tracy Johnson of West Mifflin, great-grandchildren Adelina, Rex, Julian, Wyatt, Matteo, and the loving dog Hazy. In addition to Patricia’s parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Antonio Sparico, her daughter Kristin Sparico, her brother Thomas Lister, sisters Norma Cooper, JoAnn Weaver, and Constance Ondrik. She was a member of the Christian Servitors, and ladies auxiliary for Volunteer No. 3 Fire Co. of West Mifflin also including New Life Through Christ Church in West Homestead. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles as well as playing games on the computer however, her favorite hobby was spending time with her grandchildren and making memories. Patricia had a career as a police dispatcher for West Mifflin Police Dept. she also had worked as a tax collector. Family and friends will be received on Sunday November 26th, 2023 from 2 P.M. – 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. and Monday November 27th, 2023 from 11 A.M. – 2 P.M. at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A service will take place Monday at 2 P.M. following the visitation. Online condolences may be offered at www.finneyfuneralhome.com
