November 20, 1953 – December 16, 2023, of Dravosburg, age 70, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Beloved Husband of Ella Mae Wood for 38 years. Loving father of Johnny (Becky) Lodor, Jeffery David (Ashley) Wood.Cherished grandfather of Gracie Wood. Dear brother of Sharon (Wood) Vezzani. Preceded in death by sibling, William Thomas Wood. He is also preceded in death by his father and mother William “Barney” Duncan Wood, Lila Muriel (Wilson) Wood. Brother-in-Law John E. Vezzani husband of present Sharon (Wood) Vezzani. Survived by 2 nieces, 7 great nieces and nephews, 5 great-great nieces and nephews. Randy was a Graduate of Elizabeth Forward High school. Following Graduation, he entered the Marines and proudly serving his country for 4 years stationed in Hawaii. He was a member of the American Legion in Dravosburg Post 380. Where he was head commander for a few years which he was very proud of. Above all, Randy loved his family. In which they will carry his memory in their hearts forever, may he rest in peace. Friends are welcome to a memorial that will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Dravosburg., 51 Duquesne Ave, Dravosburg, PA 15034, (412)469-1530. Arrangements have been entrusted to I.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th Street, Dravosburg, PA 15034. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Legion Post 380.
