Thayer E. Marody, age 65 of Manor, Pa., died December 31, 2023 at Magee Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born February 8, 1958 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Eva Walton Thompson. Thayer loved reading, cooking and her cat Hazel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Schifano. She is survived by three daughters, Kari Bogovich, Laura Schifano and Amy Schifano, two sisters, Susan and Diane Thompson, grandchildren, Amelia Bogovich, Jake Bogovich, Mikey Honaker, Brooke Honaker. There will be no visitation. James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike in charge of arrangements. Memorial Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the family. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
