Lylalee L. Weldon, age 87 of Versailles, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 H.J. Heinz VA Hospital - Aspinwall. Born April 18, 1936 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Blaine and Vivien (Giles) Lytle. A US Air Force Veteran and member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Lylalee received an associates degree from CCAC and worked as a secretary for McKeesport Hospital, the former St. Denis Church in Versailles, and most recently for St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. She joins her husband, the late Edwin J. Weldon, who passed away May 2, 2019. Lylalee is survived by her daughters Denise (Steve) Siviy of Winston-Salem, NC, Dawn (Wayne Carver) Forbes of Windsor, MA, and Deborah (John Lips) Schroeder of Versailles; her ten grandchildren Cassie, Edwin, Joey, Tabby, Nina, Kayla, Nathan, Jackie, Allison, and Shannon; her nine great-grandchildren; her sister Bonnie Vojnovich of Freedom; and also nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother Blaine Lytle.

Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 10 AM in Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick's Church. Procession and burial with military honors will follow to Mt.
