Marlene Louise Cavallaro, of McKeesport, PA, died on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She was born in Port Vue, PA on July 23, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Albert G. and Louise E. Friedhofer Kropp. She was the wife of the late Joseph Cavallaro.
She loved spending time at her cottage at the lake, spending time with her family, traveling to new places, dancing, and enjoying a nice meal at a good restaurant.
She is survived by her four children, Joe (Tammy) Cavallaro; Keith (Jennifer) Cavallaro; Ricci Cavallaro, Sr.; Denise (Benny Crawford) Cavallaro; 1 foster daughter, Emmy Murray; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marlene was preceded in death by her sibling, Albert Kropp; and grandson, Ricci Cavallaro, Jr.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church, 1640 Fawcett Avenue, White Oak, PA 15131. Entombment will follow at Lebanon Chapel Mausoleum in West Mifflin, PA.
