Chuck G. Demorest, Sr. age 63 of Westmoreland City died February 1, 2024 at his home. He was born April 23, 1960 in Jeannette, a son of the late Wilbert J. Demorest, Sr. and Anna Louise Pollard. He was a graduate of Penn Trafford High School. Prior to his retirement, was employed as a welder for Holtec in Turtle Creek. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, enjoyed going to the casino, and was a huge wrestling fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Marvin “Bud” Demorest. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Peggy Shaffer Demorest; son Charlie Demorest (Kayla); daughters Tanya Richards (Michael), and Juanita Bothell (Jay); grandchildren Kristin, Joshua, Jacob, Cash, and Carter; brother Bill Demorest; sisters Adela Senica, Charlene Kerlin (Robert), and Carrie Ruzyc; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday At James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon 2-5PM, with a service at 5 PM.
