Kenneth Arnold, age 88 of White Oak, passed away at home on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Born June 22, 1935 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Harry and Doloroas (Weis) Arnold. A US Army Veteran who served during the Cuban Missile Crisis, Kenneth worked for years at Thoroughfare Markets then retired as a distributor for Voortman’s Cookies. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and trips to the casino. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce (Lasch) Arnold, who passed away January 18, 2021, his brother Harry Arnold; and his brother-in-law James Lasch. Kenneth is survived by his children Jeff (Debi) Mullen of Horsham, PA, Scott Arnold of White Oak, Lori (Randy) Anselmino of North Huntingdon, and Greg (Denine Frye) Arnold of Jeannette; his nine grandchildren; his eleven great-grandchildren; his brothers-in-law Tom (Lynn) and Frank (Lorraine) Lasch; and also nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 2 PM until 8 PM. A Blessing will be held in the funeral home on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11:30 AM. Procession to, and burial with military honors will follow in, Irwin Union Cemetery. www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
