Elaine C. (Mooney) Allen, age 79, of East McKeesport passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024. She was born February 4, 1945 in Braddock, a daughter of the late William Mooney and Irene (Curtis) Gingery. She enjoyed working in retail sales at Fashion Bug in the East Land Mall before it closed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 28 years William J. Allen; daughter Michelle Lubly; brother William Mooney and James Mooney; and sister Marlene Mooney. She is survived by her niece Joann (Tim) Gusty that she was very close with and thought of as a daughter; and nieces Sharon (Jeffrey) Wiley, Coleen (Mark) Rosol and Nicole Mooney. Services are private. Interment at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park in North Huntingdon Township. Arrangements handled by the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083.
