Rose Marie "Roe" Kuseck, age 94 and born in Monessen December 10, 1921 and formerly of Elizabeth Twp., passed away November 17, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Rose Rose and Matthew Chuk and the wife of the late Joseph J. Kuseck.

During World War II, Rose Marie was a true "Rosie the Riveter," working for the Curtiss-Wright Corporation and Spencer Lens Company, both of Buffalo, NY. She was a graduate of Monessen Senior High School and the Bryn Mawr School of Beauty, a member St. Michael's Catholic Chuch in Elizabeth, the Croatian Fraternal Union of America, Buter's Tuesday Morning Ladies' Golf League, as well as the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. She also enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and especially loved to golf. Rose Marie is survived by two daughters Marsha R. (Robert) Cornell of White Oak and Deborah N. (Thomas) Walter of Elizabeth Twp; her son Joseph G. "Jerry" Kuseck of LaPine, OR; her grandchildren Matthew J. Walter of Versailles and Meredith A. Walter of Towson, MD; her sister Barbara Luketich of Monessen; and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 3 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 10 AM in St. Michael's Church with Fr. Thomas Wagner officiating. Interment will be private.
