Writing with a heavy heart, Cheryl Joy Lorincz Stipkovits lost her battle with multiple ailments, May 8, 2024, and will be sorely missed. Born January 15, 1962, she is the daughter of Elmer and June Lorincz of Elizabeth Township, PA.

Joy, known to family and friends, enjoyed gardening, cooking, Merman (the dog), reading books by her favorite author and keeping her husband in line. Along with being helpful and very caring of all her friends, and even neighbors.

Joy is survived by her husband, Joseph Stipkovits; youngest child, Michael Stipkovits; granddaughter, Maleena Engster; sisters, Sharon; Susan; and Tammy; brothers, Steven; and Robert; mother-in-law, Dorris Stipkovits; sister-in- law, Sharon Stipkovits; brother-in-law Fred; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl is preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Elizabeth Stipkovits-Garish.

Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:00 p.m. A burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017, on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 2:30 p.m.
