Carol Ann Howard Mitchell, 75, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at Southwestern Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pittsburgh. She was born in Pittsburgh on September 28, 1948, to the late George E. and Elizabeth J. Kelly Howard. She is survived by son Michael (Jodi) Mitchell, of Jefferson Hills, and grandson Michael Mitchell, Jr., of Jefferson Hills. Carol was preceded in death by brother George W. “Butchie” Howard and beloved dog Shadow. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and needlepoint, as well as cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.
