Richard Lee “Rick” Knox, 63, of Clairton, formerly of Elliottsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024. He was born in Uniontown on January 20th, 1961 to the late George and Rosetta Knox. He was the loving husband of the late Helen Virginia Mayfield Knox. Richard is survived by his siblings Carolyn Pici of McKeesport, Lori Knox of Uniontown, Roger Knox of Fayette County, George (Dee) Knox of Connellsville, Vanessa (Bill) Frost of Hopwood, niece and caretaker Candace Dixon of Clairton, daughter Vernadette Clark of Uniontown, as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife Helen Virginia Mayfield Knox, Richard is preceded in death by his parents George and Rosetta Knox, and his brothers Henry Knox, Vernon Knox, and Mark Knox. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024 from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M. at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A service will take place Monday, June 3rd, 2024 at 10 A.M at the funeral home. Followed by internment at Roundhill Cemetery.
