DON A. NOLDER, 85 of Glassport died Nov. 20, 2016. He is the son of the late Howard and Jean (Abels) Nolder. Don proudly served his Country in the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his daughters Vickie (John) Finch of Glassport and Kimberly Susan Nolder of McKeesport; son Jeffrey (Regina) Nolder of Whittier CA; grandchildren Jacob (Amanda) Skiffington of Monroeville, Courtney (Christopher) Perez of Bethel Park, Joshua and Cari Skiffington of Glassport and Kellie Skiffington of South Park; beloved great grandson Levi; brother Howard (Sally) Nolder of White Oak; also nieces and nephews.
He was blessed to have loved and been cared for by Donna Nolder and her loving family, Denene, Emilio, Lisa, Leo, Miranda, Alex, Ronda and Jon and his loving pet Ava.
Don was retired from the accounting department at Copperweld Steel Corporation. He loved his music and was a trumpet player with the Eddie Arnell Band providing music from the Big Band Era to dance venues all over Pennsylvania. Don also played minor league baseball with the Boston Braves.
He will also sadly be missed by the Rondinelli's from California and all his friends at Johnny's Diner, La Prima Cafe, and his Bocce buddies.
His family would like to give a special thanks to all of his nurses and caregivers from Vitas Hospice for their extraordinary compassionate care.
Friends will be received at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 940 Vermont Avenue, Glassport PA 15045, Wednesday November 23rd from. 2-4 and 6-7:30 at which time a funeral blessing will be held.
