Nancy Pecora, 87, of Harrison City, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She was born May 7 th , 1937, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Edward C. Bergquist and Hilda Mildred Bergquist. She was a graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School with the class of 1955. Nancy dedicated her life to children as she was recognized for her 50 years of service as cafeteria manager at Penn Middle School in Harrison City. She also was a member of St. Barbara’s Roman Catholic Church, Harrison City. Nancy loved to spend her time cooking amazing “ronis,” gardening in her many flowerbeds, and taking spontaneous trips with her family to Tastyland. She also loved to play “ball” with her favorite buddy, Riley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband of 48 years, Attilio “Babe” Pecora. Surviving are her daughter, Nanette Wesoloski and dog Riley, of Harbeson, Delaware, and her son, Edward Pecora and his wife Sherri, of North Huntingdon; her beloved granddaughter, Marissa Pecora; her sister, Linda Barrett and her husband Ed, of North Huntingdon, and numerous nieces and nephews; other family members wish to remain private.
