John Dale Powell, 63 of Dravosburg passed away on July 6th, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born in Homestead on June 14th, 1961 to the late John and Pat Seible Powell. John is survived by his siblings Jeff (Nancy Cislo) Powell of Dravosburg, Judd (Michele) Powell of Xenia Ohio, his loving partner Janine Moffat of Dravosburg, nieces Taylor and Alexis and his pet Jax. John was preceded in death by his parents. He was a former mayor and councilman who helped his community. John was a member of St. Agnes in West Mifflin. John accomplished a tremendous task by becoming a state wrestling champion. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved to take out his motorcycle and boat. He was a businessman and owned Powell Auto Sales in Dravosburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to I.M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St, Dravosburg, PA 15034.
