Paul G. Wysni, age 92 of Elizabeth Twp. and formerly of Liberty Borough, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth. Born March 31, 1924 in Oceola Mills, he was a son of the late George Wysni and Anna (Hallas) Wysni Miklosko.
A US Army Veteran of World War II serving in the Philippines, Paul retired from US Steel's Duquesne Works and was a member of St. Mark's Parish in Liberty Borough, formerly St. Eugene's, where he served as an usher and was one of its oldest members. He joins his wife, the late Joan E. (Steffan) Wysni, who passed away April 1, 2012, and also his brother Michael Miklosko and stepfather Michael Miklosko. Paul is survived by his daughter Paulette Hite of Liberty Borough; his son Daniel R. (Deborah) Wysni of White Oak; his sisters Delphine (Carl) Schulte of West Mifflin and Bernadette (Don) Leonatti of Port Vue; his brother Thomas Miklosko of Liberty Borough; his sister-in-law Bernice Miklosko-Houser of South Carolina; his grandchildren Nathan (Janet) and Vanessa Hite, Courtney (William) Storch, and Danielle (Mark) Covelli, and Dylan and Devin Wysni; his great-grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 12 Noon in St. Mark's Parish - Liberty Borough Site with Fr. Daniel Straughn officiating.
