LuAnn Hill, age 70, of McKeesport, PA, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. She was born February 17, 1954, in Brownsville, PA, to the late Thomas and Betty Harrison Furlong.

She was as strong as a bear according to her loving husband of 53 years, Fred. She won her battle with breast cancer six years ago and survived two strokes over the past few years. She lost her fight to a recent diagnosis of lung cancer.

In addition to her husband, LuAnn is survived by her children, Beth (Tim) Quinn; Fred (Nichole) Hill; and Scott Hill; grandchildren, Brendan; Alexis; and Justin Hill; Madison; Timothy; and Tyler Quinn; brother, Vaughn (Kathy) Furlong; sister-in-law, Sylvia Boyle; and mother-in-law, Sylvia Hill.

In addition to her parents, LuAnn is predeceased by her father-in-law, Charles Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Susan Hill; and her beloved dog, Khloe.

LuAnn truly enjoyed spending time with her family and working on puzzles and watching Hallmark movies. She loved animals and would be so pleased if donations would be made to the White Oak Animal Haven, (2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131) in her memory.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Services will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel and officiated by Pastor William Meekins.
