To know her was to love her. Julie A. Geiger, age 45, of Adamsburg (formerly of Paintertown), passed away September 28, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 2, 1979, in Pittsburgh as the youngest of Walter and Polly Geiger. She graduated from Penn-Trafford High School in 1997. Julie was employed with AHN Premier Medical Associates-Imaging. Her past 2 1/2 years were challenged by glioblastoma, which never dampened her kind spirit.

Julie was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father (Walter), and her fiancée's father (John Varrati). She is survived by her fiancée Sean Varrati; mother (Polly); siblings Glenn, JoEllen (Kurt) Giesey, and Andrea (Chris/niece Rachel) Muti; and her nephew and niece Andrew and Megan Giesey who searched out every opportunity to spoil/support. She also left behind two brokenhearted labs, Bennett and Kingston, along with Sean's siblings John (Tammy) Varrati, Patricia (Trent) Varrati, James Cook, and Kathy (Dan) Osborne and their children. A special thank you to her amazing medical team. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, from 11 AM - 4 PM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Clay Pike, North Huntingdon.
