Jeffrey Joel Wargo, age 63, of McKeesport, died Friday, November 1, 2024, at his residence. Born November 11, 1960, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Lewis, Sr. and Wilma (Bevin) Wargo.
Jeffrey was a member of Holy Family Church in Latrobe, PA, and enjoyed attending Mass at the Divine Redeemer Motherhouse in Elizabeth, PA, and he worked for many years as a counselor for the Association of Retarded Citizens.
Jeff loved spending time with his pets and would call himself the “Beastmaster”. He was an accomplished musician, an avid fisherman, and enjoyed reading a good novel. Jeffrey most of all was a gentle soul loved by many and he will be greatly missed.
Jeffrey is survived by his brothers, Christopher John Wargo, of Latrobe; Lewis Wargo, Jr., of McKeesport; and his sister, Susan Wargo of McKeesport.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Striffler's of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412-678-6177). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Divine Redemer Mother House, 999 Rock Run Road, Elizabeth, PA 15037.
