Dennis A. Moore, age 71 of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024. He was born on May 9, 1953 in McKeesport, a son of the late David "Pete" Moore Sr. and Helen "Honey" Brannagan Moore. Dennis was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church where he assisted with meal preparation. Prior to his retirement, Dennis was employed as a transportation provider for special needs adults at CLC and also as a long-time electrician. In his free time, Dennis was a drummer for his band Constellation, he was a great cook, and also a model train enthusiast and collector. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his grandson, Aaron Luke Safko. He is survived by his beloved wife Deborah Petro Moore, one son Kevin Moore (Mary Beth) two daughters Kimberly Safko (Kenneth) and Jodi Telli (Rocco), and grandchildren Alexandria Bittner (Alex), Nathan Safko, Abbie Telli, Retta Telli, Grace Telli, Megan Luksik, Seth Luksik, and Zachary Moore. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Tuesday from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Wednesday at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dennis's name to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, or Austin's Place organization for special needs children and adults. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
