Bernice Drnach, age 97 of West Mifflin and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 in Grandview Estates, Elizabeth Twp. Born October 8, 1927 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Cesidio and Emilia (DeSantis) Macioce. A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish and the Sons of Columbus, Santa Maria Chapter #4 (both of Clairton), Bernice worked at both J.C. Penney's and Sam's Club. Bernice was known as mom, grandma, aunt, and GiGi to her loved ones. She put her family and faith above all things. She was kind and giving to all that knew her. Besides her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, the late Frank R. Drnach, who passed away December 10, 1999, and her siblings: Maggie DeBaldo and Carmen, Patsy, and Louie Macioce. She is survived by her son Frank (Karen) Drnach of Moon Twp.; her daughter Jeannie (the late Richard) Miller of Elizabeth Twp.; her nephew Robert L. (Ciara) Macioce of Peters Twp.; her five grandchildren: Allison (Gary) Grimm, Richard L. (Jen) Miller, III, Sara (James) Bertram, Emily (Shane) Patterson, and Vincent Drnach; her eight great-grandchildren: Alivia Jean and Nathan Grimm, Isabelle and Christian Bertram, Finley and Cade Patterson, and Molly and Noah Miller; her great-nieces and great-nephew Giada, Giuliana, and Rocco; and also many other nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025, (412-233-5700) on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 10 AM in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - St. Clare of Assisi Church, Clairton. Procession and entombment will follow to Lebanon Church Cemetery, West Mifflin.
