Margaret Ferencz Gegick of North Huntingdon died on January 21, 2025. She was born on September 22, 1924, daughter of Elizabeth and George Ferencz. She was a homemaker. Margaret loved to dance and frequented the Herminie Senior Center. She was a member of St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church. Margaret is preceded in death by all of her siblings and her husband, Albert. Margaret is survived by daughters Priscilla of the area; Patricia in New Mexico; Linda and husband, Allen, in New Mexico; and Lisa and husband, James, in Colorado. She is survived also by grandson Michaeljohn and wife, Erin, and grandson Anthony. She has three great-grandchildren, Leo, Ava, and Ashleigh. Friends and family will be received at James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. Panachida will be recited at 7:30pm. A divine liturgy will be celebrated at St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church, Bethel Rd, North Huntingdon, PA on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 10am. Internment will take place at a later date.
