Rose Ann Kalkbrenner, age 68, of Baldwinsville, New York, formerly of McKeesport, died Jan. 25, 2016.

She was born in McKeesport on Nov. 14, 1947 and is the daughter of the late Dominic Molinari and the late Ana Mae Kutchfar (Charles) Lofstrom. She is the loving wife of 48 years to John Kalkbrenner. She was employed at GC Murphy Warehouse in McKeesport for many years.

In addition to her husband, John she is survived by her daughters, Dr. Kathy J. (Dr. Aaron Zucker) Kalkbrenner of Bloomfield, Connecticut and Melanie A (Kelly) Shum of Baldwinsville, New York; grandchildren, Mia Shum of North Adams, Mass. And Macie Shum of Baldwinsville, New York; sister, Jean (James) Rotharmel of White Oak; brother Charles Lofstrom of Saltsburg; sister-in-law, Tara (the late Louis) Lofstrom of Ellizabeth Twp.; many nieces and nephews; and life-long friend, Joann McKinney of Locust Grove, Georgia. In addition to her brother Louis, she is preceded in death by brother Ricky Lofstrom.

Friends will be received from 2:00-4:00 and 6-8:00 PM on Friday at STRIFFLERS OF DRAVOSBURG/WEST MIFFLIN, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, PA 15034 (412-678-6192), service will be held Saturday at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow.

Remembrances in Rose’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
