Bernice H. Kurp, age 90 of North Huntingdon died March 2, 2025 at her home. She was born November 12, 1934 in West Wilmerding, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Czekaj. Bernice was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon where she was a Christian Mother and a member of the Emerald Club. She enjoyed card club, playing bingo along with being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley in 1996 a son Joseph Kurp, three brothers Stanley, Walter and Theodore "Dykes" Czekaj, two sisters, Josephine Fagan and Sophie Frydrych. She is survived by three sons, Gary (Denise), Ronald (Marian) and Jim Kurp (Claudine), two daughters, Diane Riley (Tom), and Terrie Harsch (Dan), 21 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and daughter in law Lynn Kurp. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10 A.M. at St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
