Barbara A. Ruhe, age 83 of North Huntingdon, passed away on March 6, 2025 at Magee Women's Hospital. She was born on November 17, 1941 in Duquesne, a daughter of the late Louis and Anna Rinkes. Barbara was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon and the Ladies Auxiliary of Larimer Volunteer Fire Department. She was employed as a school bus aide for First Student. Barbara enjoyed celebrating holidays with her family and she loved to watch her grandchildren grow. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Donald J. Ruhe in 2021, two brothers Lawrence Rinkes and Richard Rinkes (Laurie), and two sisters, Joan Rinkes and Marilyn Rinkes. She is survived by two sons, David and Doug (Shannon) Ruhe, two daughters, Dawna DeLaney (Brian) and Deann Czopek (Mark), one sister Kathryn Howell (Ron), one sister-in-law Aurelia Rinkes, and four grandchildren Tyler, Taylin, Ryan, and Gavin. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Agnes Church on Monday at 10 AM followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Duquesne.
