Michael “Flo” F. Pomilio, age 69, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away, Friday, March 28, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. A 1974 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School, he retired after 37 years from the maintenance department at Metalor Technologies in Export. He loved the Steelers and gardening in the summer, used to ski in his younger days. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Born March 18, 1956 in McKeesport, he was a son of Francis E. (Helen) Pomilio and the late Florence J. (McCorkle) Pomilio. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Anna (Hutchko) Pomilio; sons, Anthony M. of Elizabeth, Michael A. of Elizabeth Twp. and Joshua M. (Tori) of Forward Twp.; grandchildren, Nora Rae, Liam Matthew and Lincoln Michael Pomilio; brothers, Jeffrey (Loren) Pomilio of Elizabeth Twp. and Gary (Stacey) Pomilio of Elizabeth Twp.; stepbrothers, Jay Matyas of Pleasant Hills and Mark (Dennen) Matyas of Hunker; his dog, Bugsy; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew D. Pomilio. No visitation or services are planned. A celebration of life will be announced.
