Bessie Dalessandro, age 89 of North Huntingdon died March 31, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 27, 1936 in Shafton, a daughter of the late John and Cora Proudfit Rain. Bessie modeled giving, patience and love. She took care of her siblings, her husband and her mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis P. in 2008, two brothers, Alex and John Rain, and her sister, Ruth Ann Panaia. She is survived by two sons, Louis and Vincent, her daughter Denise Gunnell, two brothers, Joseph and Donald Rain, two sisters, Cora Naugle and Kathy Sartori, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
