William Snyder Funeral Home

Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | April 23, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kelly Cucunato, who left this world on Monday, April 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by the love and comfort of her devoted husband, Andrew, who held her hand through every step of her journey.

Kelly was the cherished mother of Emma, loving stepmother to Vincent and Joseph. Her warmth, kindness and quiet strength shaped their lives and left an undeniable mark.

Kelly had a gentle nature and a heart that always sought peace. She was not one for confrontation, choosing to meet the world with compassion and calm. In a world that often rushed and shouted, Kelly was a soft place to land – steady, soothing and full of grace.

Through the long and often cruel ordeal of her illness, Kelly faced each day with bravery and dignity. She was held up by the love of Andrew, her husband and care taker, who never missed an opportunity to call her “Babydoll”. Their bond was one of true devotion, and his care for her in these final months was a testament to the deep love they shared.

In accordance with Kelly’s wishes, all services are private. Kelly was a deeply private soul who never sought the spotlight. Her final wish was to be remembered as she was in life: full of fun, warmth and quiet dignity.

Arrangements handled by the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. For online condolences please visit www.snyderfuneralservices.com.
