Mark R. Kloock, age 50, of Monroeville, formerly of Jefferson Hills, died suddenly on Sunday, December 18, 2016.

He was born in Pittsburgh on November 22, 1966. Mark was a faithful member of the US Army and served honorably in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He started his military career right out of high school, continued at Penn State Behrend in the ROTC program and ultimately retired as a Major after 31 years of service. He was a member of Rolling Thunder, loved riding his Harley and toured all over the United States. Mark loved life and lived two lifetimes in his brief 50 years. He touched the lives of many and will be truly missed. He is survived by his parents Raymond and Joann (Dropik) Kloock of Jefferson Hills; son, Gauge Kloock of N. Huntingdon; daughter, Erica Kloock of Homestead; sister Janice (Todd) Stewart of Wake Forest, NC; girlfriend and partner Nicole D’Alicandro of Monroeville; niece and nephew, Todd and Courtney. He was preceded in death by his best friend Nick Vukovich. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 21st from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177) where service will be held Thursday, December 22nd at 11:30 AM. Burial with military honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Condolences may be made at strifflerfuneralhomes.com.
