 John “Skip” F. Davies, 72 of North Huntingdon, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016. He was born October 12, 1943 in McKeesport, a son of the late John D. and Francis Ann (Clark) Davies. He was an Army veteran that worked as a truck driver for over 40 years and was a member of the Elizabeth Township Ex-Serviceman’s Association where he served as a board member.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers William and Thomas Davies. He is survived by his wife Lillian M. Davanti who shared over 28 years together, sons Robert, Scott and Zak (Kimberly); grandchildren Stephanie, Jessica and Emanuel; and brother Philip Davies. Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724.863-1200 where everyone will gather for a funeral service at 9 a.m. Friday with Rev.
