Olive “Sis” (Heckman) Parsons, age 82, of North Braddock, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. She was born September 2, 1934 in Wilmerding, a daughter of the late John and Edna May (McCutcheon) Heckman. She worked for many years as a caregiver at the Turtle Creek Community Services and was a member of the North Braddock Ladies Auxiliary where she played bingo.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 54 years George Parsons; brother John Heckman; and sisters Marlene Wright and Barbara Jean Jubic. She is survived by her children William (Melissa) Rawson, Charlotte (Marc) Rodman-Hulsman, Ronald (Sherry) Rodman, Dorinda Rodman, Caroline (Raymond) Sinclair and George “Rusty” (Desiree) Parsons; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Tom Heckman; sisters Mary Louise (Frank) Brazada and Mabel Henry; and many nieces and nephews.
