Geraldine "Gerry" M. (Hartman) Bozik, age 71, of Forward Twp., passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at home. She was a retired transfer car operator for U.S. Steel Clairton Works. She enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach and decorating for the holiday seasons.

Born December 18, 1945 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Sarah Jean (Daily) Hartman. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Donald J. Bozik; daughter, Dawn Barnes of Morgantown, WV; sons, Steve (Justine) Vujevich of Columbus, OH, and Chris Bozik of Forward Twp.; grandchildren, Alyssa Vezzetti of Monessen, Ike Vayansky of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Anne Vayansky of Myrtle Beach, SC; two great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Kayda of Pittsburgh; brother, Ernest Kayda of New Alexandria; half-brothers, Dennis Hartman of Elizabeth Twp. and John Hartman of Elizabeth Twp.; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Donald Bozik Jr., and daughter, Michelle Vayansky. No visitation or services are planned. Burial will take place in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Arrangements by the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth.
