James W. Shirley Funeral Home
Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | January 14, 2026
With deep love and steady faith, we announce that Cindy has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From the moment we can remember, Cindy’s life was a reflection of her faith. She didn’t just believe in God, she trusted Him. In everything she did, she leaned on prayer, patience, and the quiet confidence that God was always in control. Her faith was gentle but strong, humble yet unshakable. Cindy showed her love for God through the way she loved others. She loved without conditions, without judgment, and without hesitation. She listened, she forgave, she prayed, and she cared deeply. When life was hard, she didn’t complain, she prayed. When others were hurting, she reminded them to trust God, even when the answers weren’t clear. She taught us what compassion looks like. She taught us what patience looks like. Most of all, she taught us what it means to live with faith not just on Sundays, but every single day. Cindy found comfort in knowing that this world was temporary and that heaven was promised. Today, while our hearts ache, we take peace in knowing she is exactly where she always believed she would be wrapped in God’s love, reunited with those who went before her, and finally at rest. Her faith shaped generations. It lives on in the prayers she taught, the love she gave, and the example she left behind. Though we will miss her deeply, we rejoice knowing her faith has been made sight. In addition to her parents, Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, William Seefeld and Shirley Gray Seefeld, and two sisters, Bobbie Wetzler and Kathy Blystone. She is survived by one son, Christopher Feltes (wife Shannon), two daughters, Tina Steinkopf (husband Carl) and Nikki Feltes, two brothers, Mike Seefeld (wife Susie) and Tom Seefeld (wife Mary), one sister, Becky Niderstros (husband Clint), grandchildren Chad Gasparro (wife Lexi), Jesse Gasparro (husband Kevin), Joshua Gasparro (wife Tessa), Blaise Phillips (husband Kaleb), Briona Feltes, and Tanner Feltes, several great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her best friend of 41 years, Donna Eathorne. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Friday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10 AM with interment to follow in Irwin Union Cemetery.
