David R. Altman

David R. Altman, age 91 of Lincoln Boro, passed away in Jefferson Hospital on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Born April, 19, 1925, he was the son of the late David W. and Pearl (Voelker) Altman.

David was a World War II Veteran of the US Navy and a retired member of Local 66 of the Operating Engineers of Western PA. He was also a member of the Elizabeth American Legion Post #553 and Mt. Pleasant Elks #868. David is survived by his wife,Theresa (Pecora) Altman, his children Beth (Randy) DiGiorgio of Lincoln Boro and David F. (Sandy) Altman of Marietta, OH, his grandchildren Wesley DiGorgio and Sarah Marie (Kyle) Kopko, his great-granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Kopko, his brother; Ray H. Altman of Crown Point, IN, and a nephew. No visitation is scheduled. A blessing service and interment with military honors will take place Tuesday at 10 AM in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
